   Addison Essay Peer Review:
   – Has 3 claims, needs to narrow it down to one
   – Spoke about Staninger and Aladdin
   o Focus on Aladdin
   o Might use Staninger to support certain claims
   – Talk about Aladdin, Jasmine and Jafar
   o Take out Genie
   o Aladdin and Jasmine are the positive “westernization”
   o Jafar is the negative “westernization”
   – Focus on the “westernization” of the Orient

   I thought that your first draft was very well spoken and you provided good evidence. However, you should focus on one topic instead of trying to set it up like 5 paragraph essay trying to prove three different points. Instead of focusing on lots of characters from Aladdin, try to focus on a couple and how they are westernized in your eyes which I feel like is your claim that you are most excited about from my perspective. Try to be more analytic with your writing instead of just stating facts from the movie. I think you can remove some of the evidence that you used and keep just a couple pieces. The amount of evidence you are trying to use to prove your claim is a lot. Dive deeper into how Aladdin is misinterpreted.
